About the Artist

Case Kennedy is a singer-songwriter from Seattle, WA. His musical style is similar to that of the great songwriters of this generation and the the last! With influences from Townes Van Zandt to Paul Simon he reminds the listener of current favorites such as David Grey, Ryan Adams and Pete Yorn. Case has consistently been gaining a loyal following on MySpace as well is quickly making a name for himself among his local peers such as Damien Jurado and Rocky Votolato. His Myspace page is currently averaging 2,000 + plays per day.

He is currently working on his first full length CD but tends to tire of the studio quickly and is content at releasing self produced demo from his home. "I just feel like sometimes the studio can take the magic away from a song after any length of time. I find it it serves the song more for it to be recorded when it is inspired to be and not when the engineer has spent an hour setting up a microphone mix.....I just find it boring!"

Simply stating that the album will be finished "when it is meant to be finished" Case seems to be constantly working to improve his craft. He seems to more enjoy finding a great song or having the song find him, as he puts it - and then finding on open mic to perform it....immediately. Stay tuned as this is one artist who has his best days ahead of him, and judging by the amazing songs already in his catalog, that is definitely something to look forward to.
