About the Artist

I am Robert Edis, an East Devon (UK) based guitarist/singer/songwriter. Originally from Teignmouth. I have been writing music since I was 16. I have quite an extensive catelogue of tracks written over the years when inspiration hits as lifes journey goes on, including several written and recorded whilst living in Brisbane Australia (beautiful place and worth a visit if you get the chance). Playing mainly around the Devon area doing local festivals, showcase gigs and support slots etc. Getting to the point now where it is time to start getting my back catelogue out there so I can look back when I'm old and gone in and say that I wasn't too scared to put it out there. Absolutely loving the reaction I am getting from doing it live both solo acoustic and the few I've been doing with the band. Also now teamed up with Jeffi (short for Jennifer) Clarke a hugely talented singer with a stunningly beautiful voice so come and check us out. The debut EP Overcast Sky is now available. Debut album underway and planned for release in 2010. Featured at the Exeter Phoenix Voodoo Lounge in Sept 09 and planning some further showcase gigs later this year and lining up some festival slots etc for 2010. Also now getting some some airplay on BBC Radio Devon and Phonic FM. Featured Artist of the week on Exeter FM Nov 09. Exciting times for me at the moment and long overdue. Hope you enjoy my music.
