Sagacious Past

Sagacious Past is a diverse group of musicians coming from all over the San Francisco bay area. Each of us are significantly different but when together we create something unique, something solid, something much more than ourselves. Our interests are far and wide but one thing we all share in common is our love for Metal. Formed in early 2008 the band has already played in front of thousands. Production on our first LP material started immediately, and was finally finished and released June 09, entitled "Caught in the Present" All tracks have literally gone through hours of attention, rehearsal and stage play, to get them just right. It is very difficult to choose the most notable, but we feel that Now, There’s No Relief and Kidd Anthem are our strongest. Our sound is very diverse, having strong influences from older thrash metal bands such as Megadeth and Metallica and having the prominent edge of current Metal bands such as Slipknot and Sentenced. However our sound can not be pinpointed and can only be summed up as Sagacious Past.
