Samsamba is a collaborative project featuring the songs of Steven Hardy performed by the singer Kristen.

Steven Hardy’s songs have been recorded by some of Canada’s favorite artists including Murray McLauchlan, John McDermott, Quartette, and others. He has composed music for theater, choir and television and is the recipient of two SOCAN songwriting awards. His songs have been heard on a variety of CBC national radio and television network programs including The Sunday Edition, After Hours, DNTO, Sounds Like Canada, Morningside, Quirks and Quarks, Basic Black, Choral Concert, the Pamela Wallin Show and Le Telejournal. His songs have been performed at the Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals, and have been used in a variety of television shows in Canada, Ireland, Iceland, Spain and the U.S.A. In September 2004 his song “If Never” was performed by Jessie Ross and Eddie Bullen at the the Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece and was featured in the CBC Television Special “Celebrate!”
