Lindsey Collins has been writing and playing music live for 10 years, since the age of 16 and has played in bands Lady Jade and Fey, then started Scarlet Virginia in 2008 with her younger sister Mary Alice. Ben Halliday, Blair Cook, and Mike Shelby joined in 2009 completing the setup.
Scarlet Virginia play both full band sets and acoustic sets, with a wide variety of instrumentation including electric guitars, piano, bass, full drum set, acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo, and cajon.
They currently play live in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area and just recorded their first official EP entitled "By Lamplight", being released this summer, and plan to follow it with mini tours in the South East.
