Biography Over 10 years ago in Saginaw, MI, several music lovers came together with a common goal – to make original, high energy, positive music in a scene that was being dominated by 'harder' bands and cover bands. While some of the line-up (and some of the name) has changed, the goal has remained the same, although it was lost for a bit. Negative energy got the better of Sprout when they had their trailer stolen twice within a few years, causing obvious friction among its members. The relationship was further strained in July of 2009, when Sprout embarked on a cross-country tour that took them to the West coast and back. While Sprout tried to remain positive financial burden increased any small problem exponentially. The underfunded tour was the last straw and Sprout had to take some time off before they broke up completely. Some much needed and much appreciated help came from family and gave Sprout the opportunity to dig themselves out debt. Nearly a year later, Sprout has found their drive stolen by negativity, reworking old originals and putting together new ones all with their regained positive energy and attitude (and 3 & 4 part harmonies). With 20 new originals added to the set list and a new CD in the works Sprout is coming back with more energy than ever. Be sure to see this band when they return in December, you won't be disappointed. Come out, see Sprout, have fun.
