Submerse - Producer, Writer, Engineer, Artist
About the ArtistSHORT BIO
Submerse was born in Monterey California but shortly after birth he moved to Montana. Submerse has been making music for about ten years, but it has been his passion since birth.
He has gone through more challenges already at the age of 18, than most people will go through in their entire life. From dealing with suicidal family members to his own emotions, from no friends in high school to getting kicked out of college, from being over 300 to trying to lose weight. When it comes to hard work, no one works harder. When it comes to integrity, that’s what he is built upon. When it comes to the haters, you best believe that he strives off of them. Being white, fat, from Montana, and rapping will really test how strong your heart is.
Submerse has always been judged by first appearance, and by his will to be the best he is capable of being. His mother and father divorced just about the time he was entering high school and shortly after, Submerse and his “friends” parted ways because he chose not to drink, not to smoke, and not to party. He was also told by one of his "friends" that he shouldn't have any because it would destroy his chances of accomplishing his dreams in his life. Being over 300 pounds it seemed like nobody would like to talk with him, let alone hang out with him. To this day, Submerse, still has not gone on a single date.
Trying to change his life around Submerse decided that it was time to lose weight. He graduated high school early, and moved to Arizona where he would pursue a degree in recording arts. Little did he know that the school would kick him out for no reasonable explanation and he was forced to return to Bozeman, MT. Submerse has reached the point where he can’t watch the television or even listen to music anymore, because he is sick of hearing how ignorant and selfish most of those people are. He used to make music for God, but now he is making music for the people who are struggling with emotions. You could call his music “mainstream” but when it comes to lyrical capability, he is one of the best. Submerse is still going through his struggles, he’s still friendless, still struggles with music, and still struggles with life in general, but he will NEVER give up trying to create a better life for himself.
