As of December 2009, SuperSeed will be together to celebrate their first Anniversary. However, the band is nothing short of a growing established Denver band. "Having been able to work diligently together in the past year has really built our sound. We can collaborate more eficiently as a band, and I feel that our new music will really shine." Frontman Aaron Rocha says about the recent year. SuperSeed has had some very good shows already under their belt. Shows that bands who have been around for years haven't had chances to play. Having headlined The Gothic Theatre multiple times has really showed that they are growing. Playing along with National Touring Act Blind Pilot at the Famous Belly Up in Aspen, CO was a moment they truly appreciate. "Sharing the stage that so many great and honorable musicians have played on really opened my eyes. I knew this would be a memory I can keep for a very long time, not just because of the history, but the top notch establishment just made it better" says Matt McKibbin (Bass & Vocals). With numerous clubs and venues such as the Larimer Lounge, The Soiled Dove Underground, The Bluebird Theatre, and many other venues around town, SuperSeed has averaged about a show every other weekend. A piano pop/rock band that has developed styles from classic piano rock, Aaron Rocha feels his style is unique to other piano players in this market. Being a classic Rock trained piano player his styles include artists like Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Joel, Elton John, and Ben Folds. SuperSeed can play a soft ballad right before going into a strong catchy Rock groove. This allows Andy Anderson to play the guitar in a way artists twice his age struggle to do. While all this is going on, drummer Corey Bergeron produces elaborate beats that allow the crowd to feel the rhythm and tap their feet. Matt McKibbin lays down the bass to assure that the songs keep their strength while delivering powerful vocals on such songs like Devil in the Backseat and Gravity. Four talented musicians who have been playing their love of music for many years. When Super Seed was asked where they would like to be in 1 year they answered, "We want to be in the same direction that we are in now. Working hard, producing more songs that catch the audience's ear, delivering memorable live shows, and maybe being able to give our employers the two week notice. We promise to work hard, write the best we can, and continue to show our fans how much we appreciate them supporting us and being there for us. Honestly like we always say, if it wasn't for our great fans and support around town from other bands, family and friends, we would be playing in the basement of our mom's house. Thanks Lee!! & Thank you everyone who supports us! We will keep on working and bring you all the excitement of your favorite bands. Thus became us..... SuperSeed
