Up and coming, unsigned R&B singer/ songwriter, Suzann Christine Henry who performs under the name Suzann Christine was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a youth, she gained an appreciation of the classical arts, theatre, and all genres of music through her years participating in the Young Performers Theatre Camp of Philadelphia. Her voice was first recognized from her mother who placed her on the Heavenly Chimes choir at Second Macedonia Baptist Church. She began singing solos when her youth choir director Vera Eubanks discovered her bold voice before the age of 10. At this very young age Suzann Christine proved to her family, church family, and others that she was not afraid to use her voice.
During her teen years she performed with YPTC musical theatre. Suzann was called to play in lead roles including Maria from West Side story and Timone from the broadway play Once on this Island. While attending The Philadelphia High School for Girls she was selected to sing with the All City State choir for high school students. Also, during her high school years she found her love for song writing. Suzann Christine started recording her own records in her sophomore year in North Carolina while she attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University of Greensboro. She also is a featured soloist for the song Rejoice on the NC A&T Fellowship Gospel Choirs album released in 2007.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from NC A&T Suzann Christine moved back to Philadelphia where she could expand her career. She is currently working on her music and performing at different events throughout the Philadelphia Area.
