For Therese, music is her life, and when she recalls her earliest memories of growing up in Detroit and listening to the greats of Motown, jazz, and rock, all she ever wanted to do is sing. Her songs are lyrical images of the range of life's experiences -- hope, change, love -- and cross the borders of blues, gospel, reggae, rock, and soul. This musical veteran spent 13 years in Nashville, where she made several appearances on CMT and regularly performed at the famous Bluebird Cafe. Her debut CD made it into Album Network's Top Ten CD's of the year and the first single, "A Woman Like Me" spent two and a half weeks in the #1 spot for requested songs on WTPA in Harrisburg, PA... Sometimes billed as "the musical mistress of the lyrical ad-lib" Terese is right at home spontaneously creating lyrics to fit the mood and energy of the crowd, taking in all that is happening at the moment and pouring it out in song, Terese plays passionate music for passionate people...
