Hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY, these five kids have made a name for themselves all around the country. Touring the east coast several times, along with the mid-west, gaining a lot of exposure through online marketing strategies and self-promotion, and working their absolute hardest, this group has nothing to lose when it comes to writing a simple melody. With catchy choruses from songs such as "The Radio Song" and "Completely Different People," they have the sound of the next big-name, radio-friendly, writing powerhouses in the industry.
"We just enjoy writing music that people enjoy," says Josh, singer of the group, "and we will not stop working our hardest until we get where we want to be."
Formed in late 2009, The Here and Now has been in and out of studios such as Nada Studios (The Ataris, Taking Back Sunday, Just Surrender, The Morning Of), and The Attic Studio (The Best Week Ever, We are the In Crowd), working on their debut EP, What You Live For.
With an early November release, this album holds many promises for this group, and proves... They are something to look out for in the near future.
