About the Artist
In an era of increasing categories in rock music, the six L.A. area friends in Throwing Seven decided to not be another “scene band” and dedicate their sound to a unique hybrid of melodic and dynamic hard rock. Using three guitarists: Paul Gonzalez, Ben Crandell and Eric Jacobson, Throwing Seven creates a harmonically rich sound to back up Jude’s clear, soaring vocal melodies. With Dave Cortez (bass) and Adam Tice (percussion) providing a tight rhythm section, no musical element is left to chance. Their songs have been compared to artists from Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Thrice, Incubus and A Perfect Circle. While grateful for the comparisons, the band calls it “a good start”, declaring intent to develop their sound further. With 2 independent releases, several festival appearances and a tour already accomplished, & both new music and a tour planned for 2011, Throwing Seven stands ready to face the world!Achievements
