About the Artist
Singer. Songwriter. Arranger.
Torica recently inked a lucrative publishing deal with Bryan-Michael Cox and Warner Music Group and has been working nonstop on projects for Monica, Amerie, J. Lo, among others. She is penning lyrics and recording with some of the music industry's most successful artists and producers. But the most exciting news is that she's re-launching her artist career.
Although she has had moderate success through successful appearance on Field Mob's #1 Grammy-nominated radio smash, "Sick of Being Lonely," Torica has never really gotten a chance to illustrate who she is as an artist. In her words, "when I first entered the music business, there were just things I didn't know, through learning experiences, I've come to understand that timing is everything...now is my time."
Torica astonishingly balances life as a singer, songwriter, arranger, bourgeoning model, and mother. Spending countless hours in the studio has truly paid off, as she has become a self-taught recording engineer. She is eager to learn something from everything and everyone. Each song is a chance to discover something new about her creativity, she enthusiastically states, “I love making music and am fascinated by the process of creating something out of nothing...taking a track and bringing it to life still excites me every time, I'll stop creating when I am no longer excited...which will probably be NEVER.
She is represented by Woodland Entertainment Group, who expresses that Torica has an undeniable destiny to be successful; she has a rare work ethic, an undying determination to win, a great personality, and an incredible hustle. Torica acknowledges there is no easy way to the top, but understands that to not succeed is to not try, if you never try, only then have you failed. Her piece of advice to anyone pursuing a dream is, “the only limit you have in life is the one you put on yourself, it is not enough to just dream, work hard for the dream, and it will become reality.”
She is currently working on her mixtape titled, UrBaN LiPsTiCk: Kissable Music...Check your local listings for Torica's upcoming performances in your area or contact Woodland Entertainment Group for booking inquiries and Masse Media for press/media related inquiries.
