The group, originally named Futures Promise, was formed by Quinton, Quincy, Houston and two other members while attending high school in Humble, TX. As time passed, Houston and the twins grew together as brothers and made the decision to move on as a trio. The group’s name, Bayou Citi, is representative of their heritage and upbringing in Houston area. Quinton and Quincy, along with their sister, were raised in foster care, until they were adopted into the Lovings family when the twins were six years old. The twins grew up playing piano and singing in school and church choirs where their talent was recognized at an early age. Under the loving care and guidance from their adopted parents, they continued performing in various talent shows and events throughout Texas. They later discovered that their biological parents, whom they’ve never met, were also musicians. This served to fuel their motivation to take their God given gift of music to the next level. Quentin and Quincy currently live together in Houston and attend Texas Southern University where they study music and dance. At TSU, Quincy and Quinton decided to give up their football scholarships in order to dedicate more of their time to sharpening their musical talent. Their love of piano, writing, and producing their music is only eclipsed by their youthful enthusiasm toward life. They signed a production deal with Lifeline Entertainment in Houston, TX in the summer of 2008. They are eagerly awaiting their next project with powerful Pop, Hip-hop, and R&B producer, Kevin Randolph, former member of the Underdogs.
