Well Below Zero formed in 1996 under the name Knewt with band members Austin Duckworth, Stan Dowdy and John Pierce.Austin played drums and sang lead vocals, Stan on guitar and bgv, John on bass and bgv. This core group proved to stand the test of time.As the years went by band members came and gone(to many to mention here), but these three, the founders remain. Band names came and went also. You may have know them as Knewt, Paserby or seven47. Names may have changed but the songs remain. These seasoned musicians have played for many different audiences in many different venues around the state of Colorado.The guys have been through a multitude of tragedies and triumphs over the last dozen years that have caused them to either step back from playing or have drawn them closer. What ever the case it has given them a ton of experiences to reflect on when writing.It doesn't take a listener very long to see where these guys are coming from. Their faith comes through loud in clear. Now with the addition of Aaron Duckworth(bass)and Reggie Martinez {aka Shr-Reggie}(lead guitar)the WBZ sound is better than ever!
