I grew up on a farm in Moody County, South Dakota. I moved to New York City in !986 at the age of 21. I have sung and written a wide variety of music since then; jazz standards, avante garde, pop, R&B, country, and even comedy. I am always listening to new music, and trying new ideas. I have a wide variety of influences, and I hope they all are somewhere in my song writing, and singing.
