Everett Coast was founded in early 2011 by singer-songwriters Danny Byrne and Josh Misko. They were introduced by their dear friend & mentor, Anika Paris (Warner Chappell / Universal), while attending Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA. The two California natives bonded quickly becoming fast friends and bandmates.
Everett Coast’s influences include legends in the pop, rock, and folk genres such as Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, America, Seals & Crofts, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. They’ve had the opportunity to open for major artists including: Air Supply, The Wailers, G Love & Special Sauce, Coleman Hell, The Dan Band, and others.
Everett Coast has released two self produced EPs: Hey, Hey, California (2013) and Lift Off (2015). Their songs “Hey, Hey, California” & “Passing Through” were featured in the 2016 film Monumental. The EP features three 60's classics, and two original songs including “Bye Bye Baby” written by John Keller. John has written songs for Wynonna Judd, Etta James and most famously, “Love Is” sung by Brian McKnight and Vanessa Williams.
