Biography

Everett Coast was founded in early 2011 by singer-songwriters Danny Byrne and Josh Misko. They were introduced by their dear friend & mentor, Anika Paris (Warner Chappell / Universal), while attending Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA. The two California natives bonded quickly becoming fast friends and bandmates. Everett Coast was founded in early 2011 by singer-songwriters Danny Byrne and Josh Misko. They were introduced by their dear friend & mentor, Anika Paris (Warner Chappell / Universal), while attending Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA. The two California natives bonded quickly becoming fast friends and bandmates. Everett Coast’s influences include legends in the pop, rock, and folk genres such as Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, America, Seals & Crofts, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. They’ve had the opportunity to open for major artists including: Air Supply, The Wailers, G Love & Special Sauce, Coleman Hell, The Dan Band, and others. Everett Coast has released two self produced EPs: Hey, Hey, California (2013) and Lift Off (2015). Their songs “Hey, Hey, California” & “Passing Through” were featured in the 2016 film Monumental. On January 8th, 2017 Everett Coast released an EP called, “The Shel Talmy Sessions.” The Record is Produced by Shel Talmy (The Who, The Kinks, David Bowie), engineered by Johnny Lee Schell (Bonnie Raitt, The Blues Brothers, Taj Mahal) and mastered by Rob Fraboni (Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys). The EP features three 60's classics, and two original songs including “Bye Bye Baby” written by John Keller. John has written songs for Wynonna Judd, Etta James and most famously, “Love Is” sung by Brian McKnight and Vanessa Williams. In February 2017, Everett Coast was featured on the first season of Korean reality television show, “Cross Country.” The show aired on major Korean network “MBC Every1." While on the show, they performed with KPOP stars Yenny (Wondergirls), Suran, Kim Bohyung (SPICA), and actress Hanna Kang. On May 25th, 2017, Everett Coast released a four song “live-in-studio” cover EP of some of their favorite hits. The EP, Everett Covers Vol. 1 (Live at Ultratone Studios), is available everywhere digitally, and includes unique renditions of songs by Michael Jackson, Weezer, Green Day, The Beach Boys, and Bob Marley. Everett Coast's new single, “Oil In The Water,” is expected to release early 2018, and is mixed by mixing engineer/producer, Jack Joseph Puig.
