“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” – Eleanor RooseveltSince she was in elementary school, Jacquelyn raised attention to a voice that carries with it beauty, soul, and purity in its sound. Her grandmother, a Julliard concert pianist, discovered her ability to sing when she was only 5 years old, as she sang along to her favorite Disney movie. Since then she has gone from singing in school choirs, to singing in many stadiums, and doing session work for major artists. Jacquelyn grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, a town on the outskirts of Washington D.C. Her childhood consisted on her love for music and nature, often bringing her from horse farms of the beautiful Maryland countryside to the stage. In high school she made her mark in her hometown by singing the national anthem for every sporting event. When word spread that she would perform this as much as possible, she was called upon to sing National Anthem for the Baltimore Orioles, the Washington Nationals, several other minor league teams as well as the University of Maryland. After college, she moved to New York City and worked tirelessly to make her dreams come true. Her first session job in New York was for Jessica Simpson’s “A Public Affair” at Sony Music Studios. This skyrocketed her interest in studio work, which led to a steady gig singing on countless demos for songwriters and a job working with Michael Case Kissel at KMA Music in Times Square. She performs and records at Jungle City Studios and is currently collaborating with legendary musicians and major label producers to work on her first album. Inspired and influenced by an array of genres she carries a deep respect for soul, country, R&B, rock and classical. She plans to combine these influences creating a sound that is rich and carries over to many audiences. All of these accomplishments compliment her vision for a path she cannot only call her own, but one that will stand out amongst many young people involved in the industry today.
