Bio and a few words. by Jefferson Fox
Singer/songwriter Jefferson Fox has amazed audiences throughout the U.S. with tunes from past works, other inspiring aritsts and from his newest album, 'little epiphany' which was released to the internet on June 5th of 2010 on his independent label, Ursidae Records. Jefferson's lyrical genius, compelling voice and quirky but beautiful guitar playing made this record an amazing work that will be remembered as a musical masterpiece for years to come. The record is a solo-acoustic effort that was captured by Kevin Rose of Elevated Basement Studios. On October 28, 2010 Jefferson completed his work on 'Chronicles Of Harvey', a more in depth project that has been going on for some months now. It is due to release around the first of the year. More news on that soon. For now, some of the recordings have been uploaded to his sight, though it is rumored that part of these recordings will be eliminated from the final product. They're viewable at Jefferson's Bandcamp Page. Much touring has ensued since 2007, but from Oct 15, 2010 till Jan 1, 2011 Jefferson will be taking a short break to complete a few projects and get some rest. 'The Second Epiphany' is currently being written and recorded, a video is in the works... etc etc etc Jefferson is prolific to the point of madness. Jefferson writes with deep insight about the dilemmas, disappointments and delights that inform the human condition. Listeners find in his music an awareness and understanding of those moments in life that find us with our defenses down or leave us confused. His voice evokes every emotion that a listener hopes for and brings to life songs that stay with us long after the record stops. His lyrics find us staring headlong into the events that bring his songs to life. He has been described as a James Taylor of the 21st Century but the creativity in his work brings many other names to the conversation including Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Leo Kottke and a host of others, all proving that what Jefferson Fox provides is a new flavor for music appreciators." - Dr. Larry Underberg

Technical Requirements

Jefferson Fox requires an audience. If you are planning to provide PA for one of my shows, I need a microphone and a direct feed for the guitar or a condensor for it. I enjoy lighting but it's not a requirement.

I sincerely enjoy unplugged events if the room is adequate for the listeners enjoyment.
