Jenna Bryson

Jenna Bryson is terrible at writing about herself in third-person, so from here on out, she will write about herself in first-person:

My tunes have been in TV shows (“Hellcats”, “90210”, “Life Unexpected”, etc), some indie films, and in 2011, we made a music video, for ‘Clear’, that I absolutely love, because there are lots of dancers in it and they are freaking gorgeous. In 2012, I was also a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only competition. And now, my life story…

…but if you’re expecting some tale about a gifted child prodigy, or a girl born into poverty whose only escape was music, or anything of that nature which you would usually find in a story like this one about a musician or an entertainer, you won’t find it here. I haven’t been singing since before I could talk, I’ve never slept with my guitar, and I still make my living by playing princess at kids’ birthday parties. What?! For real.

I am not that which dreams are made of; I am not the picture of success. Yet. But I like to say, that if you can’t climb over the walls that hold you back, you break them down. You decide to make your own opportunities and quit relying on fate, luck, or fairy Godmothers to give you those chances.
