“Watch out Evanescence, Leah's coming!”
“This angelic music gives goose-bumps! This is music perfected; a mix of ancient-like old melodies, great orchestration, and an angelic voice that can cut through your tears.”
The art of LEAH is one of diverse influence: Haunting Celtic melodies, mysterious eastern vibes, and the depth of a true singer-songwriter. She does all this, while harnessing equally heavy symphonic rhythms that keep you mesmerized.
But most of all… LEAH has a voice that will utterly enchant you.
Listen to her music and you may hear a touch of world music, such as Loreena McKennitt or Enya. Those familiar with the darker side of symphonic may also see a glimpse of the like of Lacuna Coil, or Delain. Mostly you will hear something unique… And it will please your senses.
LEAH has been writing, singing and playing music for nearly half of her 27 years and the hunger to create is only getting stronger. In that time, she has built a library of songs and toured with the progressive metal band Ashur.
More recently, LEAH signed with DAVIDDANCE RECORDS to release a 4-song dub/dance EP. It’s a far cry from symphonic rock, but LEAH's song-writing knows no limits. There is nothing new under the sun, however LEAH’s influences are so diverse (Devin Townsend to Enya) that she incorporates many new elements of fusion to create an amalgam that people find both refreshing and intoxicating.
As an author and homeschooling mother, LEAH knows all about hard work and enjoys the challenge of finding success locally; a path that led her to the licensing and publishing side of the industry.
LEAH has recenctly released her debut symphonic-rock album, “Of Earth & Angels,” with HMP Recording & Development.
