Unemployed on Monday

This was a song I started writing while living in Chicago in 2004. During that period of time I was dealing with alot of addictive personalities and the the song is about being in love with an alcoholic. The imagery is reflective of lucid nights that are always followed by reality - the hangover the next day. I recorded this in 2008 with my "Americana-tinged Cabaret" band, The Whiskey Romance.
