Just A Girl

"Just A Girl" was a very hard song to write. When I had finally faced the fact that my two-year long relationship wasn't going to last forever---we were both in two different worlds, wanting two different lives---and so I looked at him and told him, "I know you love me, but in time you'll get over me. You're going to meet someone who's right for you. I'm just a girl." And that kind of evolved into this song. Enjoy.
