Kiss on Your Cheek

I wrote this song for my daughter who did not get a chance to meet my mother, but nevertheless I feel her presence in the every day; gestures, turns of phrase, interests, habits, etc. Her mothering skills have come through in mine and are being passed on seemlessly to my daughter. The bond between mother and daughter is timeless and reaches beyond the grave and our understanding. It is part of acceptance; there's no denying it even if you'd like to!
