Portrait of september
I get what you're going for, but the vocals do need more work. I would suggest finding and solidifying your true range. Nothing can kill a vocalist's sound quicker than singing out of their respective range.

Eww. A poor attempt at the overpopulated 'Evanescence tribute band' archetype- the vocals just aren't strong enough (or on-key enough) to pull it off. Another question- is it really worth pulling off when SO MANY other bands are swimming in the exact same musical cesspool? Why not try to break a little new ground instead of travelling the same old path that we are just about done with? Seeing this song in the top 20 pisses me off. It is painfully mediocre at best.

I like the way you put the haunting vocals with the hard-driving rock of the guitars and drums. Very Gothic with Metal bits and pieces. I like the haunting vocals.

Portrait of ecopractic
The vocals are fine (kind of European)--especially when doubled and in the Nico-esque passage near the middle. So far this is the only song I've listened to in its entirety.

you need to throw your voice more. your singing to softy and quietly only useing one part of your voice box at the top I would suggest worming up your voice befor recording and if you think it don't sound right record that part over and over until you get it right I think practice is the key practice songs you find hard your vocals will stretch drink water and in the end you will be able to sing that song you thought you would never be able to sing with practice you would be good xx

Portrait of Das Gift
I really like OurStage for this very reason – it seems like people are chiming in to give *constructive* and supportive comments. I wanted to echo the feedback below – given a little more seasoning on vocals, it seems like all the pieces (song structure, memorable melody, skillful band) are falling together for a perfect storm. Very promising work.

My comment seems a little harsh from before- let me elaborate
She sounds like she's scared of the mic, and could benefit from some instruction on how to project. She also seems to have a hard time staying on-key. The pitch is generally slightly flat, which puts a drag on the otherwise expertly crafted instrumentation.

Portrait of Attach the Enemy
Whereas I think everyone can improve the 'delivery' in their voice at least in some way, I like the vocals. Well done.

Voice Lessons
Potential is there, but the performance is lacking in this recording.
