Lost Soul

Whether it is speaking figuratively or literaly there are rumors about selling your soul to achieve what you want in life. Then they realize that they made a mistake and are destined for hell. As a christian we believe that you have to make a choice to accept Jesus as your savior in order to go to heaven. So, you don't really have your soul until you accept him. How can you sell what isn't yours to begin with?
