This song was written from my heart. Perhaps that’s why the vocal dynamics near the end wring me out. See...I formed a band to play my originals. I booked gigs, bought a van, PA System, costumes, etc. We played in Denver & ski resorts, sometimes working 7 nights a week. I paid my dues & made many sacrifices to keep my band together. Ultimately I sacrificed my marriage. That pain gave birth to The Honeymoon is Over.
