A little worship-ish song I wrote based on something my youth pastor says many times. We don't come to church to worship, but we bring our worship with us.
Lyrics
Verse 1: We come to church looking foward to the time to worship our Lord. We raise our hands broken again as we lift our voice and so much more. Pre chorus: But when sunday goes by and we live our lives, we live as though our lives were never changed by Him. The lives that we live are the biggest witnesses and will leave the world in wonder of the change within! Chorus: We walk through the doors, we sing to the Lord, we kneel to the floor, but we don't come to church to worship. We lift up His name and sing songs of praise. We call Him to save, but we don't come to church to worship, we bring our worship with us! Verse 2: He is with us after service, and He knows and watches us around. What will you do? Would He be glad to call you child, or will you let Him down? Pre Chorus 2: 'Cause when sunday goes by and we live our lives, we live as though our lives were never changed by Him. The lives that we live are the biggest witnesses and will leave the world in wonder of the difference. Bridge: Where ever we go, whatever we do, we will live for the glory of You. Whatever we say, each and everyday, we will live for the glory of You. Holy holy, hallelujah, You are Christ, and we will worship You. Chorus 2: So let's sing to the Lord and kneel to the floor. Let's ship our own worth! We will bring our worship with us! Let's lift up His name and sing songs of praise! Let's call Him to save! Let us bring our worship with us, even though we're not at church today.
