da da funk

I recorded this little funk/rock gem at home with master bassist Shawn Davis from Nikka Costa's band. It showcases some sweet wah guitar & envelope filter chops, while still maintaining a retro/rock edge. "da da funk" came together VERY quickly & spontaneously...exactly the way I like it! This track was also featured in a PERRY BROTHERS video short, entitled "Ponce's Pool Party".
