Description

Interesting story behind this song: I was talking to the co-writer about writing a song that was not only an emotion but an actual place on the map. We did not find it right away, but we wrote the song around regret. A few days after we'd written most of it, I discovered Regret, Tennessee, and then changed the names of the roads and places in the song, such as Highway 68, Highway 290, and both places named Surprise and Regret, on the same road.
