WOW... JUST WOW!! I grew up with music teachers for parents... and I listened to smooth jazz on the phonograph and this tune fits that genre. Shouldn't be in folk, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a fantastic song. LOVE the vocals!
I caught her performance at the Berklee College of Music Gala. Amazing! Please register for sale on this site so I can buy more of your music.

Emily is an exceptional singer/songwriter talent with a wonderful Nora Jones feel to her music... In a few places I hear a tinge of Eva Cassidy in her vocals as well... This tune is just another very sweet little piece of work from her collection... I don't see it fitting the "folk" catagory, but it's still a great listen... kudo's...
This is a real find for me. Emily has a voice that brings back many of the more accomplished and acrobatic vocalists of the past, like Laura Nyro, and Linda Lewis as well as giving Norah Jones some stiff competition The song writing has confidence and the strong melody rides over some jazzy suspended chords Give yourself a treat. Listen to this song.
