Betty On The Wireless

This song was inspired by a feature on Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio National’s 'Life Matters'. I was touched on hearing Betty Wylde-Brown talk about her life, farming with her husband on land granted to him as a World War II veteran. When I finished the song I contacted the ABC, as I wanted to send a copy to Betty, only to find she had died not long before, so she never got to hear it. This song is dedicated to Betty and her family.
