A light tempo with a touch of Country. A Renaissance of vinyl recordings created a new interest in my album "Georgie only me!". As a result, I was recently interviewed for a 1500 word article written by Mr. Hugh Dellar for Shindig Magazine which will appear in the next edition. My new site; www.georgierizzo.com includes my first album "Georgie only me!" and the first of ten new songs "Friday Nights".

I could feel the evenin' ending much too soon, as I watched the lovers leavin' by the door. She was movin' to a sentimental tune, when she touched my arm as she brushed by my chair, I could sense the subtle smell of good perfume, through the lays of smoke that whirled around her hair. (chorus) Please don't go, I want you to stay, Friday nights are just not long enough for me to say, all the the things, that I feel for you, I just have you for a while so please don't go. She just smiled at me and lit a cigarette. Would you like a drink she said don't mind at all, so we sat at the first table we could get, where the glow of candle light danced on the wall. Well we laughed and talked like good time lovers do, and we danced on through the night like good old friends, and forgot about where we might be tomorrow, please be mine till friday night comes to an end. (repeat chorus) (overlay hook) Just two lonely people passing in the night, both pretending they don't have another life, with a fire burning deep inside you know, a voice inside keeps sayin' please don't go.
