PlayHARD RAIN

This song reminds me of growing up in the Oklahoma panhandle. There were many years when we just didn’t get much rain and sometimes there were no wheat crops at all. Living there was tough at times and we were dependent on the rain to make it from year to year. Several of the farmers that lived there are 2nd and 3rd generation farmers protecting the family inheritance. Some of those families are still there, but there were a few that could not make it through the pain.

1st in this song and 1st in "Texas Talking", I can see why..nice sound, melody and progressions. There's a secret in writing or composing good stuff, it has to hit the marrow of the bones no matter what genre of music and you my friend know the secret. As I'm writing this comment, the song ended hanging instead of closing, like a typical song..that's a good thing..sorta like, to be continued. Thanks for the friendship Greg.
