Jennifer Alone was a concept song for me when I considered what the video would look like after I wrote the first line. "Yeah she just stood there looking at the sun with nothing left to do with that empty gun" I am of the school of thought that the songs I write actually write themselves. I asked, "oh crap, who did she just shoot?" I delved into what would drive a woman to shoot her husband. The rest fell into place.
