"Bad News" is a semi-fictional story about a girl with several recent instances of unfortunate luck during the recession of 2008/2009. Written for her catharsis; the song takes her troubles and places them in a new light. “Bad News” is a gentle reminder to look on the bright side, even when it seems impossible.
