This story takes place in a car, on a long and deserted stretch of highway. The passenger is involved in something he doesn't want to be apart of. Obligation however, tells him he has no choice. This song is his internal conversation as he slowly realizes there is no escape.

This song tells a story from start to end. I really relate to the character and empathize with him. I can honestly say I connected more with the character in this song than many movie characters. Yet, the story is also undefined and thus allows the listener to interject the plot that pertains most to him or her. You conveyed confusion, fear, and surrender in the same way the mind would process such a chain of emotions. Quite impressive
I could not quite decipher one of the lines, did I hear: "Can't wrap my mind around these events, and the transgression is a burr inside of me"
Wonderful job combining striking lyrics with an unusual, and equally striking, musical arrangement.

Fantastic piece. Well-performed and well-produced. Great dynamics and contrasting textures, too. I think there's a lot for the average songwriter to learn from well-structured music like this.
