i wrote "waste my breath" as an ode to female independence, empowerment and freedom, that we should honor ourselves, not waste one moment, one breath of our lives. r-e-s-p-e-c-t! (thanks, aretha) i believe we women, are all beautiful, intelligent, strong and wise creatures, and should walk proud and tall. every breath we have is valuable, so don't "waste your breath".
