Description
This song kind of documents the five months I spent hitch hiking and bicycling throughout the United States and performing unannounced shows in the most unlikely of places. There were many time when I hit some rough spots in the road. There were also many near death experiences to be accounted for. Just when I thought I had reached my end it seemed that some invisible hand would guide me to what I needed at the time.
Lyrics
People of the water Lay me down Where I can get some peace and rest tonight I don't need your money or fine things I just want some sleep and I'll move on I've been knocked down by the people I used to call my friends I'm so tangled, tied, and twisted on a road that never ends People of the water Hear my plea For this may be the end of my and I don't want to go
