Philomela Fantasy

This acoustic piano piece which has strong jazz influences, was written with the support of a grant from the Boulder Arts Commission four years ago. The event of its first performance was a 70th birthday of the composer. She gave a concert for family and friends at First Presbyterian Church in Boulder CO at that time which included a Bach Partita, Chopin B Minor Sonata, the three Gershwin Preludes and a gospel medley in addition to the newly written Philomela Fantasy.
