Spiny Norman is the alter ego of Dumbfound drummer Jon Eriksen. On Sketches he combines the playfulness of techno music with the experimentalism of progressive rock, and Jon's love for music shines through in the hectic combinations of different styles and textures. The songs live in a colourful landscape where detailed rhythmic patterns meet lively joyful melodies sometimes bordering on the naive.
