Thunder in the Springs

2008 brings the driest spring on record to the Colorado Front Range. After four months of searing drought, summer monsoonal clouds begin to gather over Pikes Peak. Slowly the clouds darken and roil over the thirsty city of Colorado Springs, until suddenly four inches of clear liquid gold slake the parched plains. The storm that inspired the music.
