"It's like everybody has opened their umbrellas, even though there's not a single cloud in the sky." Life in a metropolis will always remain a mystery to me; a boy from the suburbs of Brandenburg. Just like the interpersonal coldness of a metropolis which I have experienced myself. All "Umbrella" needs, is a guitar, some singing and a few Klingklang sounds. Still, the song manages to sound a lot more massive than other songs that are supported by an entire orchestra.
