PURPLE HEART

This song speaks of how Christ went to war for our sins - I use a common military term that I knew everyone could relate to: a "PURPLE HEART." Purple hearts are given out to soldiers who are wounded in battle, and with that thought I wrote this song about Jesus deserving a medal such as this for being wounded during war against sin.
