Jamarcus Newton CMS 200.03 Voice and Diction June 12, 2011 Value Speech My name is Jamarcus C. Newton. The C stands for Cordel. My biggest fear in life dieing and going to hell. But that’s understandable, nobody should judge me because most people main goal and desire should be to make it to heaven or at least that’s mine, 24, 7 has been for the longest. Which brings me to my first and most important point of value; hope, faith and love for the Lord, without it I could not accomplish anything. But now I about to tell you something that’s embarrassing some of you may laugh some of you might think its hilarious. But I must stated it, because it’s a fact four legged furry animals with the whiskers A.K.A the cat. I’m scary of cats. I thought it would be better if I warn because if I see one nearby I’m going on the attack. My ex girlfriend had a pet cat almost ruin our relationship. But eventually we over came that. But if you were paying attention you have noticed that I did say ex. She cheat, I grieve and we could not remorse, so I had to spit. But the reason I’m so heartbroken is not because of her but because of what she represented to me. Which brings to my next point of value love. I always wanted to be married, with a nice wife, a lovable child, and live in a nice house. But until then I’m just going to pray, wait on the lord and have patience. Until then the only girl I’m going to love is my mother. Which brings me to my next point of value my family, but I really I don’t have to go into details about that because every one loves their family. I consider my a honor and a privileged. My next point of value is freedom. The old man that stay next door to me constantly calling the police. But I don’t blame him because I’m also a little troubled about my neighbors across the street. Not that I’m trying to judge them but they seem criminal so I don’t affiliated with them because jail is not the place I want to be. Growing I struggled with sickle cell and I never would have made it through those trials and errors with my family help. Which brings me to my next point of value my health. They say that education is the key to success some even say that it could lead to great wealth and even thought I’m tired of going to school if I was to quit I would be a straight up fool. Which is way my next point of value is education. Previously to attending Alabama State I went to Trenholm Tech were I receive my Associate Degree in CIS (Computer Information System). But now I’m a sophomore at State work on B.S everything I said so far in this poem is true no B.S. My mayor is commutation I’m working on bachelor's. Shout out to all the ladies. I’m single, sexy, and I’m a bachelor so are there any takers. Naw, I’m just joking beside no one would admit it anyway. But if you were thinking about it just know I come with a lot of bagged but I also come with great values. And this concludes my presentation are there any questions.
