Lies, lies ... the world is full of lies. Why? Why? It makes me wanna cry. God gives us understanding to know Truth. I heard about His goodness in my youth, but I walked away from truth, I chose to lie! She, she ... she says that she is free. I saw her walking with the enemy. She chooses words so very carefully. Her face says something different than what I see. She stares me in the face and tells me her lies! But don't you the world lies with the wicked one? And don't you know the Son of God has come, that we may know Him (know the truth) and we are in Him (in the truth). It's Jesus Christ: the Way, the Truth and the Life! He, he said that he fancied me. Oh, me? That isn't what I see. I read the writing in the Book when I was saved, but still I had a carnal mind and he is what I craved. I closed my eyes and chose to live out a lie! Chorus and end
