California (Revisited)

California was written in a run down motel in south Texas. I'd just started talking to an old friend that lives in southern California. After a couple of shows I did out there it would rain just a little, that rain brought me all the way back to her. It's like somehow through all these years I still carried pieces of her with me, and sometimes I feel her when I feel the rain.
