I wrote Funhouse primarily about high school, but mainly about the fact that people are so convinced by peer pressure and the fact that a person can practically change over night. I thought it was funny how I came into high school with so many friends and when we graduated then I came out with far less. I figured it's not something anyone hasn't heard before, but Funhouse explains all of this in a fun, upbeat way for such a cheery song.
