Burial at Sea

I wrote this song in the aftermath of a major heartbreak. I though it would help if I got in my car and drove as far away as possible from the individual in question. I was living in Victoria, BC at the time at the southernmost tip of Vancouver Island. So I hopped in my van and drove all the way across Canada up to the northernmost tip of Cape Breton. And there I sat. On the beach. Next to a dead whale. And that's when it hit me: Wherever you go, there you are .... x
