Description
The song is about a man whose life takes a turn for the worse, as he is in a bad accident. After being revived and put on the stretcher, he speaks to God and asks him to let him go. After writing the song, I realized it had a lot of similarities to the 'footprints in the sand' poem. my inspiration for the song actually came from Frank Sinatra's 'My Way'.
